Learn to paddle a traditional Tahitian rudderless canoe & navigate at sea with a sense of safety! Calm conditions or catching waves, the V1 is a versatile boat that you will fall in love with.
Get a glimpse into true Polynesian culture by learning to paddle this traditional type of canoe.
Thanks to its unique shape, a traditional rudderless V1 makes you feel one with the water: feel the wind, waves & currents.
Outrigger canoes are more stable than kayaks, also easier to remount.
Sprint race, distance paddling, or the Paralympics, the V1 is a versatile competition boat.
We recommend taking a 3-day intro course to learn the correct paddling technique and different strokes needed to manoeuvre this type of canoe.
The V1 is a beautiful, extremely sensitive boat that gives you instant feedback on how the surrounding water interacts with your boat. You will learn to read the sea and surf each wave that comes, however small, faster than in any other craft. Optionally, you can switch between a rudderless Tahitian V1 and a contemporary OC1 that is equipped with pedals and rudder for an easier control of your direction.
