Intro class for beginners or masterclass for those with some experience or coming from OC paddling. Experience paddling & steering a traditional Tahitian rudderless V1 canoe.
Mauricio is an experienced instructor & va'a athlete from Rapa Nui (Isla de Pascua), placing #3 in the V6 long-distance world championships in 2023, and #2 in the Panamerican va'a tournament.

The paddling club will be open and its facilities (docks, bathrooms, lockers, etc.) made available to all who want to do a quick pre-race training and get familiar with the waters. All of the club's surfski & OC1 models will also be available for testing. See their detailed list here. Please contact us & schedule ahead to pick up your rental boats or to test the models you are interested in.
