With a more stable build, it is able easily withstand the beating of large ocean waves and was designed to surf them. Stable and reliable, yet fast, the Next 46 is an ideal boat for intermediate paddlers. The Next models are longer and larger volumen than the Makai series.

Elite racing model from Vajda, light-weight and designed for extremely agile maneuverability to navigate among and catch waves in a downwind race. Ideal for younger participants and lighter athletes with good stability. Stability 2/5.

The Makai 48 is ideal for intermediate paddlers with good stability. With its rounder hull shape, it is an extremely fun boat to maneuver on the waves, a reliable boat for downwind and messier conditions. Despite its width, the rounder hull shape provides for a velocity far above its counterparts of the same width, both in stability and speed would be closer to a 45–46 cm width ocean ski as the contact surface with the water is far less than expected for its cockpit width. There are two generations of the Makai 48 model, the earlier ones have a higher seat position for better posture and paddling angle while the new generation has a lowered seat providing extra stability. Similar to the Makai 48 with a rounder hull shape, this surfski has an added stability due to the slightly wider design. Lightweight, easy to maneuver, and very good in waves. Stability: 3/5.

Lightweight, fast, easy to maneuver like its counterparts, but with increased stability due to the wider cockpit. Ideal for intermediate paddlers looking to maintain their confidence during longer races where that extra bit of stability will be a huge help. All Makai models have a narrow and rounded hull, making the boats glide forward with speed, while the widened cockpit here provides a flawless secondary stability.

The Makai Mini is an ideal initiation boat for children of max. 50 kg weight. With its widest point at nearly 50 cm, it is a very stable boat for small and light paddlers. Extermely lightweight sytrolight constructin. Ideal for a first experience in waves, it is very stable, light, and easy to maneuvre. Stability: 5/5
